What You’ll Be Doing:
SafeHouse Denver is seeking an experienced and dynamic Events Coordinator to lead the planning and execution of our events portfolio. This position is a new addition to the development team and will be accountable for managing the overall revenue and corporate partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, be excited to fundraise for survivors, a creative mindset, and the ability to drive successful events that support our mission and engage our community.

Event Planning and Execution: Plan, organize, and execute a variety of events, including fundraisers, awareness campaigns, and community engagement initiatives. Ensure events align with SafeHouse Denver's mission and goals.
Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and maximizing fundraising potential. Track expenses and provide regular financial reports.
Vendor and Sponsorship Coordination: Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners. Negotiate contracts, secure sponsorships, and manage relationships to enhance event success and sustainability.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee all logistics related to events, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual requirements, transportation, and other details. Ensure seamless execution on event days.
Volunteer Management: Train, and coordinate volunteers to support event activities. Provide guidance and supervision to ensure a positive and efficient volunteer experience.
Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event. Collect feedback, analyze data, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Do You Have What It Takes?
• 3+ years in executing successful fundraising events in the non-profit sector is required
• Direct management of P2P 5ks, galas, and/or food-tasting fundraising events is required
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event and agency schedules
• A strong commitment to SafeHouse Denver’s mission

What We Offer:
• Competitive Pay: $55,000 - $58,000 starting salary. Full-time exempt position, with annual performance evaluations and an opportunity for a merit-based increases
• Hybrid work: 4 days in the office each week and meetings with community partners
