Who We Are
At SafeHouse Denver, we lead with heart, purpose, and a commitment to creating safe, supportive spaces for survivors. We are a mission-driven team guided by a culture of excellence—and we don’t just talk about our values, we live them every day. These seven core values define how we work, how we lead, and how we treat one another:
Trust
We build trust by being reliable, honest, and transparent. Our team leads with integrity, and we create environments where survivors and staff feel safe, seen, and supported.
Dedication
We show up with passion and purpose. We are intentional about our work and committed to creating lasting impact in the lives of those we serve.
Compassion
We listen first and lead with empathy. We understand that healing takes time and patience, and we honor every person’s unique journey with kindness and care.
Collaboration
We believe in the power of teamwork. We support each other, share knowledge, celebrate wins, and know that a little laughter goes a long way in this work.
Innovation
We are bold, curious, and unafraid to ask, “what if.” We embrace change, learn constantly, and look for better ways to serve, grow, and lead.
Leadership
We lead from every seat with integrity, ethics, and optimism. We take ownership, think critically, and focus on solutions—not just problems.
Inclusion
We are stronger because of our differences. We embrace diverse experiences and perspectives, and we are intentional about creating equitable, welcoming spaces for all.
