We are looking for a professional manager who plans, oversees, and communicates with leadership, staff, and clients to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the shelter facility. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly knowledgeable Residential Manager to support our work as we prepare to serve more survivors in greater ways.

Do You Have What It Takes?
. Strong commitment to the mission of SafeHouse Denver.
. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred; a strong combination of related experience and training will be considered in lieu of formal education.
. Experience managing a diverse team of direct service staff is required.
. Demonstrated ability to motivate, develop, and hold staff accountable.
. Experience operating and managing shift coverage in a 24-hour residential facility is required.
. Knowledge of the cycle and dynamics of domestic violence and its intersection with substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.
. Ability to self-motivate and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
. Strong sense of responsibility and ability to lead by example across at least two residential facilities.
. Excellent multitasking skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective, professional relationships.
. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.
. Incredibly strong work ethic with a proactive, strategic mindset.
. Reliable form of transportation required.
What You Are Expected to Accomplish
. Oversee the daily operations of SafeHouse Denver’s residential services, including the emergency shelter and extended-stay program.
. Provide leadership and ensure coverage for critical functions such as the 24/7 crisis line, case management services, and data collection.
. Serve as on-call support for residential emergencies, responding promptly and appropriately.
. Offer ongoing support to staff in data entry/case management systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
. Execute residential initiatives aligned with agency-wide strategic goals.
. Partner with the SafeHouse Denver Facility Manager to maintain regulatory compliance and ensure consistently safe, clean, and welcoming residential environments.
. Support and guide residential staff to promote strong performance, team morale, and positive outcomes for survivors.
. Communicate proactively with peers, leadership, community partners, and clients.
. Manage residential vacancies and oversee an equitable and transparent screening process for new clients.
. Engage regularly with residents and encourage staff to build supportive, trust-based relationships with clients.
. Conduct facility safety checks, ensure daily minimum requirements are completed consistently by staff, resolve issues, and report concerns to the Director of Survivor Services.
. Perform additional duties as assigned or as the agency’s needs evolve.
What We Offer:
· Competitive Pay: $70,000 - $80,000 starting salary range. Salary is negotiable. Full-time exempt position. Annual performance evaluations with an opportunity for merit-based increases after one full year of employment.
